Birthday celebrations 2nd March

Friday we travelled back to Nice to do some more sight seeing. We visited a museum of contemporary art which focuses on French and American art from 1960 until present time. I really enjoyed the Nikki de Saint-Phalle's paper-mâché figures. On the Saturday I celebrated my birthday and Cliff gave me a box of Palais Friandise chocolates which are to die for, a fantastic cake and a Picasso poster. During the day we visited Fort Carre built in 1550 which overlooks the Antibes marina. We had a guided tour in English by a very good looking young man. After we had lunch at an Irish pub of all things and I enjoyed fish and chips.
Dinner was at a local Vietnamese restaurant called Hing Yun. All in all a great day which included an hour Skype with Michelle.
