Today we took the local bus to Blot another ancient village now famous for its blown glass with bubbles and was home to the artist Fernand Leger. We visit the museum showing his work and walk the village which is probably the prettiest one we have seen so far. We came across an old church being renovated and talk to a volunteer who was happy to tell us that the Saint Marie-Madeleine church would be opened in June of this year. The church was constructed in 1155 and built below street level with stairs leading down to the entrance. It was rebuilt in 1535 and now undergoing another renovation.
